Football Registration
Welcome to our 2024 Football Season!!! We provide a platform for children aged 5 to 14 yrs. old. We strive to teach the kids the fundamentals of tackle football, which include blocking, tackling, running, catching and throwing a football. As there is no guaranteed playing time other than the levels whose rules dictate the substitutions, we strive to give all players ample playing time throughout the regular season.
Where
All of our practices and home games are held at Ron Kaleta Field!!! Our home field which is located at 15610 Long Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452.
When
Our season runs from August through Mid- November!!!
We will have optional preseason camps that begin in March and run through the beginning of the season in August.
Practices
Practices are TBD. The practice schedules are determined by the respective teams Head Coach.
Games
The SWMFL allows the hosting team/town to decide when the game is played. League games are played on either Saturday or Sunday depending on the hosting team.
Our Home Games are played on Saturday's!!!
Equipment/Uniforms
We provide helmets, shoulder pads, integrated practice pants and game pants and game jerseys. All of this equipment and uniforms is what we provide and is expected to be returned at the end of the season.
Parents are to provide:
Rubber molded style cleats
Mouthpiece
Practice jersey
Rib pad shirt (optional)
Athletic cup/supporter (optional)

Due at the time of equipment handouts
$300 Post-dated check for Equipment/Uniform deposit
$300 Post-dated check for Volunteer deposit (Each family is required to volunteer 4hrs per family)
***Note these deposits must be made in the form of a check. These checks will not be cashed, unless the equipmemnt/uniform is not returned at the end of the season or your volunteer time is not completed.***

Players aged 5 to 14yrs. old
Players are rostered according to our league and weight matrix.
WEIGHT MATRIX IS UP FOR DISCUSSION THIS SEASON BY THE LEAGUE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MAY CHANGE!!!! CURRENT LIST IS OF 2023 SEASON AND MAY CHANGE FOR 2024 SEASON!!!!
- AGE IS DETERMINED BY CURRENT YEAR ON AUGUST 31ST
- NO PLAYER CAN TURN FIFTEEN (15) YEARS OLD BEFORE DECEMBER 1ST
- SLIDE DOWN ON LIGHTWEIGHT IS SUBJECT TO ORGANIZATION AND LEAGUE APPROVAL
- ATHLETIC DIRECTOR HAS FINAL DETERMINATION ON WHAT LEVEL PLAYERS WILL PARTICIPATE
