The Raiders would like to brag a little bit about two former players... Danny and Nic Weishar! Danny just wrapped up the 2nd annual Weishfest music concert honoring his late brother and also former Raider Andrew Weishar. The fest was a huge success as several thousand friends and family showed up to remember and honor Andrew. Dan's commitment to this event and to his family is simply amazing, he tirelessly works raising money to help families that are struggling to beat cancer. Please visit to learn more about Andrew and how you can support Danny and the work that he is doing honor his brother.
Little brother Nic, is starting his college football career at Notre Dame. That's right, NOTRE DAME! Nic was one of the top high school players in the country and will now sharpen his talents in South Bend, IN. The Irish could not ask for a better player, and even more, a better person than Nic. We know Nic will have his Irish teammates fighting for a national title much sooner than expected and the "Raider Nation" cant wait.
Danny and Nic, stay strong... RAIDER STRONG!!!

Congrats Pee Wee A's !!!
Way to start off the season with a 20 - 6 victory over the New Lenox Mustangs

Another great day for the Raiders against the Crete Bulldogs at Marian Catholic!!!

The Widgets started the day vs The Bulldogs and did a great job with several big plays on Offence and some great tackling on Defense... The Pee Wee B team took the field for what turned into a 28-0 thumping over the Dogs. Our third game of the day was the high flying Raider Varsity squad that took a 14 -0 lead into half time and finished with a 20-6 victory. In the final game of the day the Raider JV got behind early but continued to battle and got stronger as the game went on falling 28-6. Great job by all today and special thanks to the Cheer leaders and all the parents that made the trip to Marian today. Our fans have always been the best and this year is no different...

Raider Pride & Raider Strong!
